The Return

In 1998, the first installment of the Child’s Play franchise was released in theaters. The movie, which starred Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, tells the story of a dolls that comes to life and starts killing people. Chucky became a horror movie icon, and has appeared in six movies in total.

The last movie in the franchise, Cult of Chucky, was released in 2017. In it, Chucky returns to his roots by terrorizing a group of people in a mental institution. However, at the end of the movie, it’s revealed that there is more than one Chucky doll out there.

This begs the question: when is Music Machine Return Chucky? Unfortunately, we don’t have an answer to that just yet. It’s possible that Music Machine is waiting to see how well Cult of Chucky does before green-lighting another sequel. Or, they could be working on something completely different.
